Just around the corner from Montefiore Hospital in Hove, our latest L-shaped dormer loft conversion had a very special deadline. Our clients were expecting a new arrival (a baby boy) and we were determined to make sure their beautiful new loft space was complete before the big day.

Our clients came to us with a clear vision and a strong eye for detail, incorporating a range of carefully chosen features to elevate the space. Aluminium windows and large glass skylights flood the loft with natural light, creating a bright, open feel. Tongue-and-groove wall panelling adds texture and character, while shaker-style doors have been used for the wardrobes and access panels to maintain a cohesive, timeless look.

As you’ll see from the photos, we were able to create a master bedroom and a beautifully designed bathroom. The bathroom features a freestanding bath and a walk-in wet-room style shower area, creating a calm, spa-like feel.  The perfect retreat for busy new parents.

Bespoke built-in wardrobes in the bedroom make smart use of the slightly trickier space beneath the front roof slope. Off the landing, we created a cleverly designed mini office area. A built-in desk and shelving provide a practical workspace, while a skylight above allows natural light to pour in. Along the stairwell, a dado rail introduces an elegant detail that ties the interior finish together. The result is a loft space that is truly dressed to impress.
